1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MacroScope ("the Service"), operated from Sweden, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the website or email, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

3. Description of Service

MacroScope is a macroeconomic analysis platform that provides systematic, data-driven models and signals covering global liquidity, inflation, credit, growth, and volatility. The Service includes dashboards, model outputs, charts, portfolio signals, and educational content. Access to certain features depends on your subscription tier.

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior.

6. Subscriptions, Trials, and Billing

MacroScope offers free and paid subscription tiers. For paid subscriptions:

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers
• New paid subscriptions may include a one-time 3-day free trial. Each account is eligible for one trial only — cancelling and resubscribing does not grant a new trial
• During a free trial, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan

7. Intellectual Property

All content on MacroScope — including models, methodology, charts, signals, text, design, and software — is owned by MacroScope and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the Service for your own informational purposes.

You agree not to:

• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit our data or model outputs
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the platform
• Attempt to reverse-engineer our models or proprietary methodology
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Share account credentials or allow unauthorized access
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MacroScope shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or investment losses, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that our models will be accurate or complete.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and disclaimers) will remain in effect.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved exclusively by the competent courts of Sweden. If you are a consumer within the EU, you also have the right to submit a complaint to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
